About Lara

A native of Santa Fe, New Mexico, I fell in love with theater at a young age after seeing The Sound of Music. Throughout my formative years, I took in every performance my parents would take me to, every musical sound track I could get my hands on, and this mentality applies to this day. 

I began performing in middle-school and continued throughout high-school. My technical theater career began my Freshman year at Southwestern University, in Georgetown, Texas. After graduating with a BFA in Theater with a double emphasis in Stage Management and Light Design I perused my career on the east coast working in New York City, New Jersey, and Florida. 

In 2010, I made the choice to return home  to Santa Fe, New Mexico, taking a break from the industry I love. I returned to stage management in 2024 in Santa Fe, and am pleased to continue my love of theater locally and in surrounding areas.
